Write Up: In 1971, the author, owning a fashion store in Colorado, embarked on a European trip seeking quality cannabis seeds. In Copenhagen, he connected with a friend and met a Danish smuggler named Pimm. Together, they traveled to Afghanistan, obtained hash and marijuana seeds, originally sourced from the renowned smuggler and cannabis genetics legend Joe Pietri, and smuggled them back to Colorado. The seeds, cultivated by friends, led to the creation of the potent strain “Do not drive a motor vehicle,” later known as Purple Paonia Paralyzer. The strain transformed Delta County’s economy, turning cannabis cultivation into a primary income source for local families. Despite unintended consequences, the strain gained global recognition, maintaining its mystique.

Dominant Pheno: The predominant phenotype is the shorter Chitrali-dominant variant, characterized by vibrant purple hues and flavor profiles ranging from citrus to lavender and wildflowers. This phenotype has a faster finishing time, completing its growth cycle in approximately 8-9 weeks.

Recessive Pheno:

The recessive phenotype, known as Blue Dragon phenotype, is a sativa-leaning hybrid characterized by a taller and more branched structure. Its flavor profile leans towards earthy and citrus notes. While some phenotypes may take up to 11 weeks to finish, the majority typically complete their growth cycle in 9-10 weeks.
